Susannah Rodríguez Drissi
Dr. Susannah Rodríguez Drissi is an award-winning Cuban poet, playwright, and scholar. Her writing has appeared in anthologies such as In Season—Stories of Discovery, Loss, Home, and Places in Between (Winner of the Florida Book Award) and journals such as the Los Angeles Review of Books, Literal Magazine, Acentos Review, Saw Palm, and SXSalon. She is the author of The Latin Poet's Guide to the Cosmos, a poetry chapbook recently published by Floricanto Press. Her first novel, Until We’re Fish, is under consideration at a literary press. Her short plays The Fruit Flies and Rey y Atenea will run from October 11th to October 14th at the 2019 Short+Sweet Theatre Festival.
