Karen Yin was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, a peace-loving, riot-inciting middle child with one eyebrow permanently arched. Her writing is plain awful on alternating days but has somehow won fellowships from Lambda Literary Foundation and the Hemera Foundation, a grant from Table 4 Writers Foundation, random writing competitions, and occasional publication in literary things.
