David Kukoff is the author of the novel Children of the Canyon and the editor of the bestselling anthology Los Angeles in the 1970s. Kukoff’s contribution to that book, “It Was Fun While it Lasted,” was excerpted in Los Angeles Magazine in November, 2016. His script, An Uncivil War, was bought by FilmNation and is slated to go into production with Oscar nominees Dee Rees directing and Carey Mulligan starring as Gloria Steinem. Another recent screenplay, Borough of Churches, is being produced by Rocky, Goodfellas and Wolf of Wall Street producer Irwin Winkler.
